We are currently recruiting for Fruit pickers for our sites in Shepparton East, Cobram. This position offers ongoing casual employment, we operate 7 days a week and offering 8–12-hour shifts.

​

• Experience may be necessary - Also full training is provided to all new candidates.

• Fast paced - so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

• Own transport required.

• Must be reliable. 

• Have a strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in all-weather types.

• The ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually.

• Have a strong commitment to safety, health and environment procedures.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Safe and efficient forklift operations in Packing Shed.

• Loading and unloading trucks with the forklift or by hand.

• Pick and packing of orders.

• Have a strong commitment to safety, health and environment procedures.

 

What you'll need to succeed?

​

To be successful in this position, you will need to be a confident and competent operator with an attention to detail, as well as:

• LF forklift licence - essential

• Previous experience (2-3 years)

• Machine operating experience - highly beneficial.

 GV Workforce PTY LTD is currently recruiting for the position of a dedicated farmhand. Since we are specialists in labour-hire services, we collaborate with multiple orchards in order to ensure that their labour demands are always met.

​

Job Description: 

​Farms hands will be responsible for the complete maintenance of the orchard they are assigned to. Some of their daily activities may include spraying and weed control, pruning, mulching, thinning, side slashing between trees, fruit packing/packhouse duties. Additionally, they may also be asked to complete seasonal harvesting tasks and tractor work.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Have a strong commitment to safety, health and environment procedures

• Be consistently punctual and reliable

• A current drivers licence and transporation

• Demonstrate flexibility to take on a range of tasks across the farm.
